Alex Milton is Head of the Furniture, Product and Interior Design Departments at Edinburgh College of Art. He is a Creative Director of the Design Transformation Group (DTG) and recent research output includes commissioned exhibitions at the London Design Festival, the Milan Furniture Fair, the National Museum of Scotland and The Lighthouse - Scotland's Centre for Architecture and Design. He has also recently contributed to a major publication by Phaidon on Design Classics, and received a top nomination from INDEX, the world's largest design and innovation award for the DTG's participatory design experience 'Claystation'. Alex Milton obtained his BA (Hons) in Industrial Design Transportation from Coventry University in 1994, followed by an MA in Design Studies at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, London.
